Sotogrande is the largest privately owned residential development in Andalusia, Spain. Originally a gated community, it is located in the municipality of San Roque and is composed of a 25-square-kilometres. It is located on the famous Costa del Sol at the bottom of Spain. It has 12 km of beaches, with good views of the Rock of Gibraltar and across to Africa, a good port and marina and a world class golf course. Needless to say the weather and climate in Sotogrande are perfect with very hot summers and mild winters. For entertainment and nightlife there are many fine restaurants in Sotogrande as well as bars and cafes, especially in the Port area which of course has the marina with it’s many luxury yachts berthing there.
