How about an entertainment in the river beach side for a fishing spree? Dalima Resort offers an excellent river beach activities like fishing and camping whereby one can totally indulge in a relaxed atmosphere in the river beach of the Trishuli River.

The Dalima resort has its own river beach (Trishuli River) where you can stroll barefoot on the sandy beach with blue water flapping your ankles, while intermittently listening to the sweet whisper of the gentle winds of the Trishuli River. This sandy beach allows for numerous adventure activities like fishing, boating, short rafting, pony riding, many water games and above all you can relax and sun bathe while your family enjoys a sandy beach picnic.

Pilgrimage Tour:
Since the 17th Century, Manakamana Devi has been widely venerated all over the country, also due to royal patronage. Manakamana or wishes of the heart, people believe, that the Devi fulfills all the wishes. A few minutes walk and a cable car ride will take you to the Manakamana Temple. A telescopic view of the Manakamana Temple can be viewed from our Resort.
Adventure Activities
Rafting:
Nepal has also earned reputation as one of the best destination in the world for the White Watrer Rafting and Kayaking. The Trishuli River that runs directly down from the glaciers of the mighty Himalayas provide the unmached thrills for rafting and kayaking and immersing oneself in the landscape is not an experience to be forgotten easily.

Hiking:
The Shivalik Mountain lies to the north-east of the Resort. It is actually a hill covered with pine trees and a thick undergrowth of dried grass, pine needles and pine cones. It is a government protected forest with some wildlife for the wildlife enthusiasts. The hike to Shivalik Mountain takes approximately 3 hours round trip. The starting point is Dalima Resort which is on the foothills of the Shivalik Mountain. One can get excellent views of the valley, surrounding the villages and the mountain ranges of Langtang, Annapurna etc. from the top.

Biking:
You peddle at your pace to the serene and leisurely country life along the hidden trails to the rarely visited local villages and their traditional rural lifestyle still preserved since centuries. It's a unique experience to peddle through lush terraced fields, small villages and to ancient Hindu and Buddhist Temples and shrines making you feel very much a part of this heritage.

Rock Climbing:
One of the most frequented and loved outdoor adventure is Rock Climbing. Dalima Resort, with the abundance of rock climbing areas in the vicinity where one can engage, challenge and explore their skill, just like the pro's do it.

Pony / Bullock Cart Riding
Pony Riding:
One can even take a pony ride to the villages and nearby surrounding areas which gives an excellent experience of the culture mixed with the natural beauty of the local surroundings. A round trip of the villages will take a couple of relaxed and enjoyable hours.

Bullock Cart Riding:
What an experience to have the previlege of taking a ride in a bullock cart, once the only mode of transportation, but still prevalent in many parts of the country. Dalima Resort offers this extravagant activity to thrill your hearts with utmost desire for a bullock cart ride.

Bird Watching
The Shivalik hill, a protected government forest just adjacent to the resort is an ideal bird watching site for the bird lovers. Due to the variation of elevation one can find most of the rare species of the birds in Nepal.
Heritage Tour
A short easy walk takes you towards the villages. Theree are many different communities within the Dalima Resort area, each having their own customs and traditions. The multi-ethnic and cultural groups include Chettris, Gurungs, Magars, and Chepangs, who are mainly farmers and agro-pasturalists. They practice Buddhism, Hinduism, Shamansim and Animism, a blend of religion and culturae which they still practice.
Different people of different communities can exchange cultural views by visiting the villages. It is not just a tour; it is teach and learn like activity. Nowhere in other resorts can one have this kind of interaction.
